Truly Magical
“I went for two amazing ceremonies. It was incredible to have the back drop of a volcanic rock face and a really beautiful wall of stones with candles. Very natural and perfect. You certainly have to be able to walk up a rugged path. Kinda like a pilgrimage. Entirely worth it. It’s truly magical.”

Mayan Fire Ceremonies
Traditional ceremonies based on the Mayan worldview led by ajqija'b, timekeepers, Mayan people, who have inherited this tradition from generation to generation.
We invite you to participate in our Mayan Fire ceremonies every full and new moon. Each phase of the moon either initiates processes and opens cycles, such as the full moon, or ends and closes cycles like the new moon, and helps us to dive into our darkness and innate wisdom.
You are invited to navigate the gifts of the Mayan calendar, to connect with the counting of the days, and to explore ourselves through the knowledge of the nawales (energies).
Current Ceremonies
TUJ Ceremony
The Tuj Ceremony and Plant Bath begins with an herbal tea ceremony, along with a brief explanation of the purpose of using the Tuj (Temazcal) and the intentions behind the ceremony.
Prior to entering the Tuj, participants pray to the four cardinal directions. Once inside, a period of concentration and meditation begins to bring to focus their desired intentions, whether they be physical, emotional, or spiritual.
We emphasize that mental preparedness and mindfulness are important, as the Tuj experience can be intense and transformational.
Throughout the meditation and concentration stage, each participant receives a gentle massage targeting 13 key points on the body. As the session draws to a close in the Tuj, you are bathed with medicinal herbs. Upon exiting the Tuj, another round of herbal tea is served, mirroring the beginning of the ritual.

Save the date: December 21, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM, at Kawoq Forest. Here, we understand that life itself is a constant ceremony, and our commitment is to safeguard this sacred space so that it continues to be a place of healing and deep connection. Maltiox!
Cacao ceremony
Directed by Francisco, these ceremonies focus exclusively on cacao without the presence of fire. We explore the history of cacao as a sacred food for the Mayans, interpreting it as "the blood of the heart, the blood of Mother Earth, the blood of our ancestors."
Aligned with the Mayan calendar, these cacao ceremonies incorporate various energies and tools for healing, forgiveness, and consciousness expansion. Drinking cacao during these rituals is not only symbolic but also a way to connect deeply with roots and gain clarity in life.
